Hey, y'all? How are you? Here's my dinner tonight. This recipe is a native Filipino food. I love bitter, I don't know why it's called bitter melon in English lol, in my country we called this Ampalaya. Bitter melon fry is an Asian favorite dish, it tastes bitter, and that is what I like about this vegetable.😁

How To Cook Bitter Melon That Is Not Tastes Like So Bitter For Your Taste?

So, not everyone though like the bitterness tastes of this dish LOL, if you are that person who doesn't like the taste of the bitter, after cutting the bitter melon what you have to do is to wash the sliced bitter melon with 🧂 salt and squeeze the most out of it until its juices then throw the juice out and wash with water until it does not taste so salty anymore. Then follow the cooking instruction of the following; 

As for the people who like the bitter taste of this dish you don't have to do the above instruction. Okay, here's what our ingredients are,
Eggs, tomatoes, Asian bitter melon, shrimp fry or we called it ujap in Bisayan dialect, 🧅onions and garlic, salt and pepper to taste. 😁

Preparation:
  • Slice the bitter melon, tomatoes 🍅 garlic, and onions.
  • In the 🍵 bowl scramble the eggs and then mix the salt and pepper into scrambled eggs ( you can add any spices you want to add )
    Mixed with some spices for flavor.

Cooking:
  • Heat the pot, put 2 tablespoons of oil and onions and garlic wait till it's turned to brown.

  • Then add the following bitter melon, tomatoes, the mixture of the scrambled eggs, and the shrimp fry, mixed and put the lid on for about 15 minutes, so it won't overcook.
