Strength to Face Fear 

We live when the earth is filled with great fear, but God’s children need not be afraid. He is the strength we need to confront fear, move past it, and do all God wants.

If anything in your life is causing you to fear right now, remember that God loves you very much and that His perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).

Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

God doesn’t simply give us strength; He is our strength! We don’t need to fear other people or what they might say about or do to us. Since God is on our side, we can confidently trust that He will always deal with our enemies as we put our trust in Him.

Refuse to live your life in fear. Fear is from Satan, and it is intended to prevent you from making progress of any kind. However, the gift of God is faith, and with it, we can overcome all fear.

Pray: “Father, thank You for loving me and being my strength. I pray that You would give me a revelation of Your love right now so I can go about my day peacefully and without fear. Because You are with me, I never have to worry—and I want to know that in my innermost being. I pray I will always choose faith over fear because I trust You! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
